The Resurrection of Jesus wasn’t just a moment in time—it’s a way of life. For the believer, Resurrection Day is not limited to one day on the calendar. It’s meant to be experienced every day, through the power and presence of the risen Lord Jesus Christ.
Resurrection Power Lives in You
As a born-again believer, the same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you (Romans 8:11)! That power isn’t a concept or a distant memory—it’s the very power of God working in you, every day, to bring about victory in every area of life.
Jesus didn’t just die and rise again so we could celebrate a holiday. He came so we could live victorious, resurrected lives. Every day is an opportunity to walk in resurrection power—power over sin, sickness, fear, poverty and every strategy of the enemy.
Speak the Resurrection
The words you speak matter. Proverbs 18:21 reminds us, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” If you want to walk in resurrection life, your words must agree with it.
Instead of speaking death—lack, defeat, discouragement—speak life. Speak the promises of God. Speak healing, provision, peace and victory. Declare daily: “I have resurrection life. I am more than a conqueror through Christ!” (Romans 8:37)
When your words are in agreement with the Word of God, that resurrection power is activated in your life.
Renew Your Mind
To live the resurrected life, you must renew your mind daily with the Word of God (Romans 12:2). The world will try to fill your thoughts with doubt, fear and negativity, but God’s Word fills your spirit with truth, hope and faith.
Make time each day to read the Bible, meditate on His promises and allow the Holy Spirit to transform your thinking. As you do, your life will begin to reflect the victory Jesus purchased on the Cross and confirmed through the Resurrection.
Live by Faith, Not Feelings
Living the resurrection life means you choose to believe God’s Word over what you feel or see. Feelings change. Circumstances change. But the Word of God never changes.
Even when challenges arise, remember: You’ve already been given the victory through Christ Jesus (1 Corinthians 15:57). Stand in faith. Rejoice in His promises. Walk boldly as someone who has been raised with Christ.

Celebrate Resurrection Every Day
This isn’t just a message for Resurrection week – it’s the reality for every believer. Jesus is alive, and His resurrection power is working in you right now. Every day you choose to speak life, renew your mind, and walk by faith—you are living the resurrected life.
Let today be your Resurrection Day. And tomorrow. And the day after that (Psalm 118:23)
You’re not trying to get the victory – you already have it in Christ Jesus. Live like it. Amen!
