A Prayer for When You’re Worried
Father, according to Your Word, I’ll be anxious for nothing. I pray with thanksgiving about everything, making my requests known to You. And Your peace, which passes all understanding, keeps my heart and mind through Jesus Christ.
I pray You will keep me in perfect peace for my mind is fixed on You—because I trust in You. I seek peace and pursue it. I pray Your peace will rule in my heart and my ways will please You so that You will make even my enemies to be at peace with me!
Thank You, Lord, that You leave Your peace with me. The peace You give me is not as the world gives. I’ll not let my heart be troubled or afraid, but I’ll trust in You with all my heart and lean not to my own understanding of things around me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
