A Prayer for Help in Your Time of Need
God is always with me and I believe He hears my prayers. James 4:8 says, “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you….” Thank You, Lord, for drawing near to me in my time of need. I stand firmly on Hebrews 4:16: “Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favour to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it].” There is no fear in me. I receive mercy where I have failed and I boldly and confidently approach the throne of grace, where I know I will receive timely help, because God loves me.
