Prayer for Salvation and Baptism in the Holy Spirit
Heavenly Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. Your Word says, “Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Acts 2:21). I am calling on You. I pray and ask Jesus to come into my heart and be Lord over my life according to Romans 10:9-10: “If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” I do that now. I confess that Jesus is Lord, and I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead.
I am now reborn! I am a Christian—a child of Almighty God! I am saved! You also said in Your Word, “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: HOW MUCH MORE shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?” (Luke 11:13). I’m also asking You to fill me with the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit, rise up within me as I praise God. I fully expect to speak with other tongues as You give me the utterance (Acts 2:4). In Jesus’ Name. Amen!
Begin to praise God for filling you with the Holy Spirit. Speak those words and syllables you receive—not in your own language, but the language given to you by the Holy Spirit. You have to use your own voice. God will not force you to speak. Don’t be concerned with how it sounds. It is a heavenly language!
Continue with the blessing God has given you and pray in the spirit every day. You are a born-again, Spirit-filled believer. You’ll never be the same!
— Father God, more than anything else, I want to know You. I want to spend time with You, share my life with You and be in constant fellowship with You. As I commit my time to You, I pray that you reveal Your presence and love to me each and every day. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
— Father, You are Love and You have put Your love in my heart. Help me to practice love today in all I do, and all I say, so that others may see You in me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
— Father, in the Name of Jesus, I make a fresh commitment to You to live in peace and harmony—not only with my brothers and sisters in the body of Christ, but with my friends, associates, neighbours and family. I let go of all bitterness, resentment, envying, strife, and unkindness in any form. I give no place to the devil. I forgive. Amen!
— Thank You, Father, for giving me prosperity in every area of my life. I commit to listening to Your voice and digging into Your Word. No matter what it looks like right now, I believe I have more than enough! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
— You are heir to THE BLESSING! Read Deuteronomy 28:1-14, inserting your own name in the scriptures, and declare the many blessings that are yours through Christ (Galatians 3:13-14).
— Father, I thank You that I am an heir to THE BLESSING! I choose life today. I choose to be a conduit for what You want to do in this world. Thank You for Your Word and the many blessings that are mine. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
— Father, according to Your Word, I stand in unshakable faith, based on Your Word, ready to receive from You. I am a tither and a giver. Thank You for providing exceeding abundantly above all that I could ask or think. Thank You that You meet all my needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus and for multiplying my seed sown so that I may give into every good work. In Jesus’ Name. Amen!
— Father, Your Word says that He who ministers seed to the sower both ministers bread for my food and multiplies my seed sown and increases the fruits of my righteousness. Therefore, I am enriched in everything to all bountifulness, which causes through us thanksgiving to God. I thank You for it, Lord.
I stand on Mark 4:23 which says, ‘If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.’ So I make the decision right now to receive. I will receive. I will do all the things necessary. I will plant—I am planting now. I put the sickle to the harvest. My confession is on the Word. My confession is by faith.
In Jesus’ Name, I receive now by faith the hundredfold return on this seed that is in my hand. I do this in obedience to the Word.
And, Satan, in the Name of Jesus, I rebuke you. You are the persecutor. Take your hands off my money! This is not your seed. It is not your land. It is mine and God’s. Stay out of my garden! Stay off my farm, for the harvest is mine!
Lord Jesus, I plant this seed into ________ (ministry or church) and believe in its return because You said it. I dedicate it to Your service, to Your affairs, in Jesus’ Name. It will be as the loaves and fishes when You used the hundredfold principle to feed the people. Amen!
