As a born-again believer, you aren’t bound to the economy of this world anymore. You’ve become a citizen of heaven. You’ve been raised up with Christ and seated with Him in heavenly places. Because the kingdom of God is within you right now, if you live from the inside out, you can enjoy “days of heaven upon the earth” (Deuteronomy 11:21). Here are a few points to help you:
1. Look to God, not to the world, to meet your needs. Philippians 4:19: “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
2. Go to Him with boldness and make your requests, expecting to receive. Hebrews 4:16: “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”
3. Fix your mind on God’s Word instead of your circumstances. Colossians 3:1-2: “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.”
4. Practice seeing yourself as a citizen of heaven and a joint heir with Jesus. Romans 8:16-17: “…We are the children of God: and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ.”
