The journey to awakening the abundant life and being fully alive in Christ begins with understanding the profound implications of Jesus’ death and resurrection. His sacrifice delivers us from spiritual death and brings us into the gift of eternal life As John 10:10 (NKJV) assures us, Jesus came so that we might have life and have it more abundantly. Consequently, this abundant life includes not only salvation but also peace, victory, and a deep sense of purpose.
Building on this foundation, God calls us to live in the reality of His resurrection power. Romans 8:2 tells us that Jesus overcame death; we too can live free from the grip of fear and the enemy’s hold.
Alive Through Discipleship
To be alive in Christ means to be a disciple—someone who follows Jesus wholeheartedly. Discipleship involves spiritual growth, learning, and obedience. Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:31-32). Once we grasp the life God has given us, we naturally take the next step into discipleship. True discipleship is about more than learning; it’s about transformation. By immersing ourselves in God’s Word and yielding to the Holy Spirit, we’re shaped to reflect Jesus in every area of our lives. This journey of growth allows us to not only live fully but also to impart life to others.
As Acts 13 illustrates, the resurrection empowered the early Church to boldly declare the Gospel. Similarly, as disciples, we’re called to share the Good News, helping others experience the life-changing power of Christ.
Watch how every seed sown in this ministry is sown again sharing the love of Christ Jesus all over the world.
Walking in Authority and Anointing
Discipleship equips us, but it’s the authority and anointing of Jesus that empowers us. Every believer carries the authority and anointing of Christ. Jesus declared, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:18-19). This commission is for every one of us, not just pastors or leaders. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells within us, equipping us to walk in power, heal the sick, and proclaim the Gospel with boldness.
Luke 10:19 reminds us that we’ve been given authority over all the power of the enemy. This authority allows us to confidently resist fear, overcome obstacles, and fulfill God’s purpose for our lives
Futhermore, God has designed the Body of Christ to operate collectively, with each believer contributing their unique gifts. This unity activates a flow of divine anointing that empowers the Church to advance God’s Kingdom on earth.
Resurrected Life: Victory Through Christ
The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are central to our identity as believers. Through His victory, we are no longer bound by sin or spiritual death. Romans 5:21 says, “So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God’s wonderful grace rules instead, giving us right standing with God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (NLT).
This resurrection power is available to us today. It enables us to live victoriously, free from fear and filled with faith. Revelation 1:18 affirms, “I am the living one. I died, but look—I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and the grave” (NLT).
Now that we understand the source of our victory, let’s explore some practical steps to help us fully come alive in 2025.
